I just wanted to tell you… I really do love my life right now. I’m safe. I’m warm. I get yummy food and gentle cuddles. I’ve even started to play and show my silly side 🐾

Everyone says I’ve come such a long way. When I first arrived after being saved from the meat trade, I was unsure and a little overwhelmed. The world felt big and scary. But now? I’ve learned that hands can be kind. That beds are soft. That toys are fun.

I especially love having a doggy friend around. Having a confident sibling helps me feel brave. I watch them and think, “Okay… if you’re not worried, maybe I don’t need to be either.” 💛

I’m still a little shy when I first meet new people. I just need a moment. A gentle voice. A patient heart. Once I know I’m safe, I promise I’ll give you all of me.

I don’t want to stay at HQ forever though. As much as I love everyone here, what I really dream about is:

🏡 My own sofa

🐾 My own garden to explore

🤍 My own family to love me forever

I don’t need perfect. I just need patient.

I don’t need loud. I need understanding.

And I really, really need a doggy sibling to show me the way.
